Whether you’re traveling, going on vacation, in need of daycare, or a doggie play date, it’s important to know you are leaving your pet in good hands. Centreville Animal Hospital looks forward to caring for your cat or dog with photo updates, comfortable surroundings, and affordable programs for day and night boarding. You can rest easy, knowing your pet is being cared for like one of our own while you are away.
Welcoming our Animal Guests
Our boarding facility is equipped to welcome dogs, cats, and birds while their owners are away. Our caring boarding team provides lots of one-on-one attention and personalized TLC, while our full veterinary team is available during regular hospital hours to care for any medical concerns that may arise. With a minimum of three walks a day, lots of personal attention, and optional group play time, your pet will sleep soundly at night and come home clean, healthy, and happy.
Updated Boarding Facilities
Our climate-controlled kennel provides spacious rooms and indoor runs. We offer an updated large breed run, which make it easy and comfortable for family pets to stay together.
In April 2012, we added an off-leash gated area to our backyard, with higher fencing and a double locked entry. This safe area creates a perfect location for visiting pets to play together.
Doggie Day Care
Centreville Animal Hospital is proud to offer doggie day care. With help from our compassionate boarding team, your canine family members enjoy group playtime in our fenced in play area.
Day care guests are joined in group by pets of similar size, to ensure play time is fun for all. Our well trained boarding team is always there, to monitor play time and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and safe time.
Our feline guests enjoy a separate area away from their canine counterparts, for maximum stress reduction during their stay. Our multi-level cages offer a wall to wall window for outside viewing, creating an inviting atmosphere for our boarding guests to enjoy. Numerous visits occur throughout the day, by our boarding team and hospital staff members. This attention provides your feline family member with a warm and welcoming stay.
While you are welcome to bring your pet’s own food from home, nutritional meals are provided to boarding guests. If your pet has a preferred feeding schedule or other special needs, please advise our kennel team. We try our best to accommodate every guest’s needs and desires.
We are equipped to handle special needs pets in our intensive care boarding facilities, including guests that require medication. Please bring all medication in the original container, stating when they need to be taken and dosing instructions.
Our team is happy to provide boarding guests with bathing, nail trims, anal gland expressing, and comb-outs for your family pet. These services are available separately, or in conjunction with boarding for an additional fee.
We welcome all area pets to our boarding facilities, whether or not your pet is a current patient at Centreville Animal Hospital. Updated vaccinations are required prior to each stay for the safety of all guests. If your pet is not a patient with us, pleas provide the following records in advance of your boarding reservation:
- Dogs—exam; Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines; fecal and heartworm test results
- Cats—exam; Rabies and Distemper vaccines; fecal, feline leukemia, and FIV test results
